There are many illusions inside the Vatican Museum, most particularly in the Gallery of Tapestries. The Resurrection of Christ is an example of the fascinating technique of shifting perspective. During this illusion, as you walk by the tapestry, Christ appears to make eye contact with you and follow you as his head and body turns.
