How to use Brutto and Cattivo in Italian

When trying to say something is bad, the Italian words brutto and cattivo may come to mind.  However, the words are not interchangeable and are used when describing different things.  Brutto has to do with looks and Cattivo has to do with bad tasting or bad behavior.
