Gelato Festival in Florence

The gelato festival is a 4 day event taking place in Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence. You couldn’t ask for a better venue to enjoy some gelato while overlooking this magnificent city. Tickets are about 11 euros online. were sold online at 7 euros each or 12 at the festival. The ticket allowed you 5 cups of gelato plus an extra cup if you voted in the contest for the best gelato. Tastings were also freely given out by the vendors with either a plastic or a cookie spoon. My favorite was the tiramisu gelato along with the edible cookie spoon.

I never thought I would say this, but I am gelato-ed out for awhile, well, just for a little while.
