World’s Oldest Pharmacy (Santa Maria Novella) 

Santa Maria Novella Pharmacy is not a regular pharmacy.  It is a museum filled with beauty products, such as fragrances, soaps and cosmetics.  In addition, there are ancient preparations, herbal teas, wax products and accessories.

Whether you are looking to browse or to purchase a unique gift to pamper yourself or another (even for your pet as they have dog and cat products) this is a place to visit.  The products are addicting but don’t worry that you’ll have to take a trip back to Florence to restock. You can order a refill online at one of the stores worldwide.

The museum is open every day from 9.00 am to 8:00 p.m. and entry is free.
