La crostata di patate or potato pie is definitely a comfort food.  You can choose to stuff it as you like, but here are some suggestions:

Ingredients

Using a 22 cm diameter pan:

600g of boiled potatoes

2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

2 eggs

a teaspoon of butter

salt and pepper

Form a dough mixing all the ingredients and add the breadcrumbs if it is too soft. Roll out 3/4 of the dough and stuff it with ham and cheese. Then cover with strips forming a savory tart and bake at 370 degrees for about 30 minutes.
